Oh, the 1920s and childrens books. What a perfect combination. One of my favorite types of art is the simple ink and color style like this book (which was a present for my friends Lori and Matt and their son Leo).

This stormy poem is very appropriate tonight.
I love the black smock and striped socks on the boy and the adorable hat on the little girl.
The little baby is so adorable in this picture, with her little tartan shawl and hat (she's the most grown-up looking kid on the page!).
