Book review: Sweater Girls

This is a great knitting book of vintage sweaters, mostly from the '30s to '50s, but there are a few from the '20s. Overall, I would make most of the patterns (which is my judge whether or not to buy the book) and I think this will be a good one to add to my collection. The sweaters I was most drawn to were the v-necks, since that looks best on me, but there were a lot of good high-neck versions (which were more in style during these decades).

:: cover of sweater girls - love the skirt with this bright green top ::

:: lovely pattern with long waist and bat sleeves ::

:: this pattern has a great texture plus a drawstring feature in the neckline ::
:: love the styling of this book, including the makeup and hairstyles ::
