One of my favorite artists is Jen Corace. A few years ago she illustrated a great children's book called
"Little Pea" (and now there is another one called "Little Hoot"). These are great books and good for gifts. I read a post by someone (can't remember who now) about making soft fabric balls to go along with the book. I made one this weekend and it went well, just wasn't as round as I wanted . . . note to self, correct for next time.
I also made a quick little tote bag (reversible) with this great fabric from the 70s or 80s of these two little kids at the beach.
