Unseasonably warm weather

It's been an odd sort of year, weather-wise. Cold and rainy during the week, almost 100 yesterday. I don't think the plants are up for it. The iris stalks just fell right over. So I brought some in for a bouquet.

I must say the mornings are wonderful though. I love summer mornings. The light is so great, the smell is heavenly.

I've been looking at a lot of photo blogs lately and really thinking about photos; how they are arranged, what makes simple, every day objects beautiful, how to get the camera to convey the emotion that you want to show. Some of the most beautiful photos I've seen are here at 3191, sea and sky, sprink, simply photo, and so many others.
