I went to San Diego a few days ago and while I compared it to Portland (how could I not?) it was ok . . . Mainly it was nice to see a different city and enjoy some sunshine. The architecture is so different there. It was so interesting to see the redevelopment that is going on. The old and new right next to one another - that is what makes a great city after all (or at least the makings of one)
Beautiful flowers next to a wonderful art deco building, which was some governmental building.
Down on the waterfront. Great art installment there, but I was entranced by the nautical, especially these stars.
