embroidery

I've been doing some embroidery lately. I made an embroidered dish towel for a birthday present (from Alicia Paulson's great pattern - which is free), used it as wrapping around some of the most wonderful scone mix, a breakfast cook book, and tied it all up with a matching bow.

Grandma also gave me this towel - for glass. 

And I'm thinking more about decorating the house and how I can incorporate more of my crafts into the everyday - since it is so busy, I feel like I don't do enough crafting anymore. I think jars of supplies has that candy-store appeal. Can't you just imagine a shelf full of button filled jars?
